2001 – Chris and Matt Davisdon: Mzimba, Malawi "Our WSC experience still influences us today. Not only do we have pictures of our Malawian family around, we share with our children about our time there. After our experience of living in another country, it has become important to us to know what is going on in the world and to make a difference where we can. And we are passing that on to our children. We pray for peace for a different continent each night, and will discuss what is going on in the world that needs our prayers. Our children have been so moved that they wanted to give some of their birthday money to help hungry children. We are a global family, and what happens to someone in one part of the world affects us all. I hope our children will continue to understand this and want to make a difference in the world as well. This is one of the paths to bringing about Christ's peace in the world." (Current as of August 20, 2010) Chris and Matt lnow ive in Dubuque, IA, where he has an engineering job with John Deere.
